Vibe Coding w/ Shaq
Campus launched a Vibe Coding class. Then they enlisted Shaq to prove how easy it is to ship an app.
We pitched the concept, shot, edited and produced a series of episodes revolving around a single question:
If Shaq could develop an app, what would he make?
THE BIG VIBE CODER
Amjad Masad (CEO of Replit) and Brandon Middleton (AI professor, Stanford) introduced the concept of vibe coding to Shaq and then passed over the keys to let Shaq cook.
His first instinct was to create an app that made him the knower of all sports stats (there was a Charles Barkley joke edited out in there somewhere).
Then he spent the next hour rattling off app ideas ranging from pickup line generators to Shaqcessories. Fortunately, we turned the show into a couple of Reels.
