HOOPERS FOR HARRIS

3v3 Tournament

We developed a social-first IRL campaign to encourage voting awareness through basketball.

16 teams. $5K on the line. 100 million impressions with zero paid media.

BRIEF

As the 2024 presidential election came around, we pitched a 3v3 basketball tournament campaign as a way to engage young males between ages of 18 to 25.

The event would be intentionally designed for social media at every touch point — from the jerseys to the fans in the crowd.

We landed a location permit in NYC while the mayor was being federally indicted, recruited top local basketball talent and influencers, and ensured the event ran smoothly with refs, security, an MC and more.

In addition, we partnered with a local restaurant and ran a youth basketball clinic.

LOGISTICS

MERCH

We partnered with a talented designer to produce and sell 12 different SKUs for the tournament, along with reversible jerseys for each team.

SOCIAL-FIRST

Most players in the tournament had a social following. So with an army of editors and community managers, we posted content live and created a system to deliver a folder of assets to each team hours after the event.

We programmed moments within the tournament designed for social, including this one with top creator George Messiah.

Hoopers for Harris was a massive success.

100+ million impressions. $0 paid media. Two mega-viral moments.

22 reels published within 24 hours of the event, and countless others shared from the NYC hoops community.
