Itβs Our Time
MADE Hoops is the leading grassroots basketball brand in the country for athletes between 9-14 years old.
When LeBron, Kevin Durant, Paolo Banchero, and Maverick Carter invested, it was time to introduce themselves to a greater audience.
Over a single day shoot, we produced a hero video, 43 social reels, and 100+ stills β all in service of the messaging for their newest campaign: Itβs Our Time.
RECAP
MADE wanted to capture as much content for the campaign as possible in a single day.
So we started writing. One hero video to with a plan to split up: one crew would shoot the hero video. Another would shoot hundreds of stills for the merch shoot. And, in true VOA fashion, weβd have a third crew running around spamming iPhone reels in the hallways.
On shoot day, we filled up three floors of a Harlem high school with top local players, basketball influencers, and crew.
PRODUCTION
We rangled youth athletes all day and scaled our production up and down for what each reel needed.
Some were high-production teasers for the campaign.
Others were ideas that came to us on the spot during the shoot.
In total, we made 43 social reels over 12 hours while the hero shoot was happening.
We shot 100% from the field.
Every single reel from the shoot has over 50k views. Some are close to a million.
